Work encompassed GPS Locaion and mapping of the existing gravity, force mains, laterals, and manholes to complete the EBCI’s existing GIS database of its system. The Tribal sewer system includes approximately 89 miles of sewer, more than 2,600 manholes, 10 pump stations, and one Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project was completed under the EBCI’s Sewer Mapping Program. Hydrostructures used existing ARCGIS maps and data of the sewer system as a base to complete information and bring the EBCI’s GIS system into compliance under its Sewer Mapping Program.

In addition to providing the EBCI with an accurate map of its collection system, Hydrostructures also developed a web-based application using the AESC Utility Cloud System so that the Operation and Maintenance personnel could access data in the field using tablet computers. The system was configured so that key maintenance tasks and work orders could be tracked and the system continuously updated. EBCI staff was also trained in the use of the hardware and software.
